Is your student starting their freshman year of high school in August?
Ready for 202X is a program that helps give incoming freshmen the skills they need to be successful though high school and beyond. Give your student the opportunity to make connections with peers throughout their community over the summer in a structured and fun environment. Students will be given academic support in math, humanities and science that will help them to be ready for core classes at the high school level. They will also earn five academic elective credits upon completion!
Students will not only learn academic fundamentals but also learn about college and career planning, social emotional learning as well as the high school experience from current high school juniors and seniors.
This five-week program will run Monday, June 12 to Friday, July 14 from 8 a.m.-2:30 p.m. Monday through Friday (No School on June 19th and July 4th). We also offer a weekly field trip that is engaging and fun!
Breakfast and lunch are included!
RTD tickets will be provided for transportation!
Ready for 202X will be held throughout the district at Vista Academy, George Washington High School and Strive PREP Ruby Hill.
Ready for 202X is open and available to all freshmen but spaces are limited so don’t delay!
