Is your student starting 9th grade in August?
Ready for 202X is a program that helps give incoming 9th graders the skills they need to be successful though high school and beyond. Give your student the opportunity to make connections with peers throughout their community over the summer in a structured and fun environment. Students will be given academic support in math, humanities and science that will help them to be ready for core classes at the high school level. They will also earn five academic elective credits upon completion!
Students will not only learn academic fundamentals but will also engage in college and career planning, social emotional learning, and will learn about the high school experience from current high school juniors and seniors.
This five-week program will run Wednesday, June 12 to Wednesday, July 17 from 8:30 a.m.-2:30 p.m. Monday through Friday (no school on June 19th, July 4th, and July 5th). We also offer several field trips that are engaging and fun!
Breakfast and lunch are included!
Students can ride RTD for free to access the program!
