School Counseling Programs

Our counselors work with and encourage students as they develop academically, personally and socially. They guide students at all age levels at DPS — from elementary school to graduation — and help set them up to thrive and succeed after they earn their DPS diploma.

DPS counselors have expertise in psychology, counseling methods, and career guidance and help students reach their full potential. They are specially trained to guide students and handle conflicts that arise, as they hold a Master’s Degree in School Counseling and receive training in mental health interventions, academic interventions and college and career counseling.
