Student Voice & Leadership

In DPS, we seek out student voices as to help us make progress and improvements in our schools. Student Voice and Leadership (SVL) provides a unique opportunity for students to take a leadership role within their school by serving on the Student Board of Education (SBOE). This allows students the ability to build powerful relationships with their peers and adults, creating a positive school environment.

SVL programs transform school cultures by nurturing the whole child, supporting youth adult partnerships and leveraging community assets. We help students discover their core strengths and apply those strengths in real world experiences.
